£18,000 Business Rates Refund
We have recently helped a client obtain an £18,000 refund of business rates.
A client took on a neighbouring property. We advised the client savings could be made in the annual rates payable by merging the business rates assessment of the newly acquiring premises with the assessment of their existing premises.
The result was not only a backdated refund of £18,000 but ongoing savings of £7000 pa.
